PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

Regina, SK

 

Position Description

We are currently seeking a Project Administrator in our Regina office. This is a diverse role that will provide critical administrative support to our projects and leadership. The regular tasks will include proposal writing, project initiation and close-out tasks, administrative tasks related to projects and business operations, minor accounting functions, and editing of marketing material. This is a full-time, in-office, Monday to Friday position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Project related functions

    • Setting up projects in the project management system

    • Collection and entry of correct billing information

    • Providing support to project teams as required with specifications, contracts, transmittals, filing and organization of drawings, etc.

    • Assisting management in tracking project performance

    • Assistance with project organization

  • Proposal writing

    • Critical analysis of RFPs

    • Writing proposal content

    • Proofreading and editing

    • Coordinating proposal compilation

    • Design of proposal document using InDesign

    • Updating CVs

  • General Administration functions

    • Approval of timesheets and expenses

    • Booking travel

    • Planning office events

    • Answering phones

    • Ordering office supplies

  • Marketing related functions

    • Website management

    • Printing marketing booklets

    • Taking photos of completed building projects

JUNIOR - INTERMEDIATE STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIST

Regina, SK

 

Position Description

JCK Engineering currently is seeking a full-time Junior-Intermediate Level Structural Technologist who is proficient in using Revit and AutoCAD software, to work in our Regina Office location. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the construction industry and/or experience working at a consulting firm. Depending on the level of experience the successful candidate brings to the position, typical duties will include the following responsibilities to varying degrees, with collaboration and review from senior personnel.

 

Responsibilities

  • Production of structural models, drawings, and sketches using Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Project coordination with internal team members and external consultants and clients.

  • Collaborating on BIM360.

  • Review of shop drawings.

  • Contract administration and field services during construction.

 

Desired Skills/Requirements

  • Completion of a secondary school diploma in Architectural Technologies or Engineering Design and Drafting Technologies.

    • Alternatively, 3-5 years or work experience producing drawings at a consulting firm.

  • Experience in drafting and design of building related projects.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Organizational and prioritizing skills, ability to work on multiple projects at one time.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills that enable them to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.

  • A positive attitude with a constant desire to learn.
