Located in Regina’s Wascana Park this facility provides technically advanced sound stages for the international film industry. The heritage façade of the 1900’s “Normal School” was preserved while the interior was redeveloped into three soundstages, offices and service spaces. A major design challenge was to retain the historical brick façade while demolishing all of the original structure of the building. The high walls were temporarily supported by steel frames and were ultimately tied into the new building structure.
